Philosophy

Through all my years of writing music and being in bands I'm still completely blown away at how many musicians never try to develop a sense of timing, feel and groove and just focus on mechanics. Music is not purely mechanical. Music is a piece of time decorated by the artist. Just as every painter has their own style of brush stroke every musician has their own sound and feel. This is derived from their own natural mechanics that they develop along the path of their musical journey. I teach the most basic of said mechanics so you can eventually break them to fit your mold and find yourself in the space of time you're decorating.
